Great thanks to Paddy O’Sullivan Master for sharing these photos and information. The carved coat of arms of the O’Sullivan Mór (MhicRuairi) is on one of the raised tombs in Killachonenach graveyard near Dunboy . A Catholic church was there up to 1602 when Carew attacked and took the roof and beams off. This emblem indicates intermarriage between The O Sullivan Mor and the O Sullivan Beare .
The chalice was removed before Carew's attack and can now be found in the Irish National Museum.
